I was born in Jersey, raised in New York, the child of a secular Jew and a recovering Catholic, who found religion in the last place you'd expect... college. A good old SUNY boy through and through, I spent five years in New Paltz (four in school, one in town) before moving to L.A. to pursue my dreams as a screenwriter. Ironically, three and a half years altter, I found more leads after moving back to the east coast than I did out there. It's good to be back with my family (1 mother, 3 fathers, 3 sisters, 7 brothers, and too many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews to count) as well as the family I've made in New Paltz, a group of friends who have seen each other through depression, insanity, crazy parents, suicide attempts, accidents mistaken for suicide attempts, bad friends, bad lovers, death, and even the unthinkable: the last season and a half of Buffy The Vampire Slayer. As it stands, I'm a 29-year-old Wiccan with a messianic complex and more mother issues than Norman Bates. Welcome to my life.
